An introduction to Sophia Appavoo

Hello, and welcome to my journalism blog, thank you for visiting my site. My name is Sophia Appavoo, I am a seventeen year ol A level student studying Philosophy,English literature and Psychology. For over 3 years now I have become set on creating a career in Journalism for myself and through this blog I am hoping to develop my writing skills through articles and to learn more about what it takes to create a truly captivating and successful article. I am passionate about the media and social issues and so my articles are going to feature deep dives into these kinds of topics.However I also take a large interest in topics like fashion, music and I hope to share my thought and takes on these through some of my articles. As my blog progresses I also plan to write about political and economical issues. After I finish my A level studies I want to go on to university to do a course in mixed media and journalism. Although I am not sure if I want to pursue a career in broadcasting journalism or writing Articles, or even a mix, I am incredibly exited to put my ambitions to work and put myself out on a platform for what I hope will be just the start of a fascinating career.
